Epson XP-8500 Printer Review

For this evaluation of the EPSON Expression Image XP-8500 Printer, I am transforming it over to my lovely wife who is obsessed with photography as well as recording our family members's life. Her experience with at home picture printing much surpasses mine so I will turn it over to her.

I am scrapbook obsessed. Seriously. I am a company follower that images should not stay on your phone permanently which all the bits of your life have a tale as well as be worthy of to be told. So, each year, week by week, I document what is going on in our lives. While I appreciate the prints from expert labs, I just don't such as waiting for my photos. So several years ago I began printing in the house. I publish a minimum of 10 pictures weekly, yet sometimes several a lot more, so I need a printer that can keep up.

The Epson Expression XP-8500 all-in-one, manual/start below overview, CD ROM for product setup (everything can also be downloaded and install from the Epson web site, power cord, 6 Claria Image HD ink cartridges (cyan, yellow, magenta, black, light cyan and also light magenta), From the box, established was straightforward. Simply connect it in, raise the scanner glass to put the ink cartridges and also the printer strolls you through the configuration. The calibration process is rather prolonged as compared to other printers and also requires you to print a couple of items and answer numerous concerns regarding the print quality. On the whole, the established took about 15 mins. I was after that able to attach it to our wireless network and also mount the driver on my computer system.

This printer has a little impact (13.7 ″ w x 13.4 ″ d x 5.6 ″ h) and also it is lightweight (14.8 pounds). You could conveniently position this on the corner of your workdesk and not lose much work area. Please note that these measurements will certainly be slightly different when the printer is actively printing due to the fact that the paper result tray opens as well as glides out.

There are only 2 switches-- a power button and a home switch. The residence button will take you to all the options-- copy, print images, check, different prints, settings, and also upkeep. The Numerous Prints menu has a range of choices such as kinds of layout paper, schedules, welcoming cards and also more.
