Setting up a Epson ET-4750 Printer Wi-Fi Network Using the Control Panel

You can set up a Wi-Fi network for Epson ET-4750 printer by using the Epson ET-4750 printer’s control panel.

Using the Epson ET-4750 Wi-Fi Setup Wizard with LCD panel

If Epson ET-4750 printer has an LCD panel, you can use the Epson ET-4750 Wi-Fi Setup Wizard to simplify manual setup.
Note:
  1. Epson ET-4750 Wifi Setup is not offered for all Epson printers or might not be made it possible for.
  2. Make certain that the Wi-Fi is made it possible for on your computer system beforehand.
  3. Check the SSID and password for your network as these are needed throughout Wi-Fi setup. If you do unknown the SSID and password, check with your network administrator.

Select your SSID. The SSID is the name of your Wi-Fi network (for example, "My_home's WiFi").

IMPORTANT: The Security Key is case sensitive.
Your security key may contain uppercase & lowercase letters as well as numbers.


Select Next to continue.

Using the virtual keyboard
 ↔ Changes to upper case, lower case, or symbols.

 ↔ Moves the cursor to the left and right.

↔ Deletes a character to the left of the cursor (Backspace).

 ↔ Enters a space.

↔Finishes entering characters on the virtual keyboard.



Check the information on the screen shown above. If everything is correct, press OK. The Password is hidden for security purposes.
If you want to check this information again, press .

If this screen is displayed, select Yes, & then Select OK. Select Next to continue.

It may take a few minutes while the Epson ET-4750 printer connects to the network.Select Next to continue.
When this screen is displayed, the Epson ET-4750 Wi-Fi setup is complete. Select No, & then press OK to finish Epson ET-4750 Wi-Fi setup. If you want to Epson ET-4750 print a network connection check report, load plain paper in the Epson ET-4750 printer, select Yes, & then press OK. For details on loading paper, see your documentation. Select Next to continue.


Press to return to the Home screen.

Make sure one of the following Wi-Fi status icons is displayed in the upper-right corner of the LCD screen.


(Infrastructure mode), (Ad Hoc mode)
It may take a few minutes for the icon to be displayed.

Enter WPS Push Button Epson ET-4750 Setup Wizard

The printer supports the WPS push button technique and the WPS PIN code approach.

Prior to connecting the printer to the network, check that the access point supports the WPS function.

Note:
  • Make sure that the Wi-Fi is made it possible for on your computer beforehand.

  • If the access point (wireless router) is not found within approximately 2 minutes, an error message is shown. In that case, make sure the gain access to point is running, & then make the Epson ET-4750 WPS settings again from the beginning.

If your router (access point) is compatible with WPS, press the WPS push button on the router (access point), or if there is no button on the router, Select the button in your router software settings utility, and then press ok. Select Next to continue.
  If this screen is displayed, select Yes, & then Select OK. Select Next to continue.
 It may take a few minutes while the Epson ET-4750 printer connects to the network. Select Next to continue.

When this screen is displayed, the Epson ET-4750 Wi-Fi setup is complete. Press OK to finish Epson ET-4750 Wi-Fi setup. Select Next to continue.
If a Warning screen is displayed, Epson ET-4750 Wi-Fi setup failed.
Press OK & then try Epson ET-4750 WPS setup again from step 2.

Check the following items.  
  1. Check that the access point is turned on. If it is turned off, turn it on & then perform Epson ET-4750 network setup again.
  2. Place your Epson ET-4750 printer close to the access point.
  3. Check that the Wi-Fi communication mode (IEEE802.11*) set for your access point matches the one supported by Epson ET-4750 printer. (*Display varies according to your location.)
  4. If the MAC address filtering function is enabled, register your printer's MAC address to prevent Epson ET-4750 printer from being filtered.
  5. Check whether or not the DHCP function for the access point is enabled. If it is disabled, change it to enabled.
Press ↑ to return to the Home screen.
Make sure the following Epson ET-4750 Wi-Fi status icon is displayed in the upper-right corner of the LCD screen. It may take a few minutes for the icon to be displayed.

Epson ET-4750 Enter WPS Pin Code Setup Wizard 


Using the router's setting utility on your computer/PC/Laptop/Dekstop/Notebook, enter the WPS PIN code that is displayed on the Epson ET-4750 printer's LCD panel into your router (access point), & then press OK. Select Next to continue. 

If this screen is displayed, select Yes, & then press OK. Select Next to continue.
It may take a few minutes while the Epson ET-4750 printer connects to the network. Select Next to continue.

When this screen is displayed, the Epson ET-4750 Wi-Fi setup is complete. Press OK to finish Wi-Fi setup. Select Next to continue.
If the following screen or a Warning screen is displayed, Epson ET-4750 Wi-Fi setup failed.

Select OK & then try Epson ET-4750 WPS setup again from step 2.


Check the following items.
  1. Examine that the PIN code is gotten in correctly in the access point energy.
  2. Check that the gain access to point is switched on. If it is turned off, turn it on and after that carry out network setup once again.
  3. Position your printer near to the gain access to point.
  4. Examine that the Wi-Fi communication mode (IEEE802.11 *) set for your gain access to point matches the one supported by your printer. (* Show varies according to your area.).

Note:
This feature is not available for all Epson printers or may not be enabled.
This Epson ET-4750 setting, and the DNS server/Proxy server address setting, is not available for all Epsn printers or may not be enabled.
  • Turn on the Epson ET-4750 printer.
  • Enter the Epson ET-4750 Setup mode.
  • Select Epson ET-4750 Network Settings (or Epson ET-4750 Wi-Fi Settings).
  • Select General Epson ET-4750 Network Setup (or Epson ET-4750 Manual Wi-Fi Setup).
  • Confirm the Epson ET-4750 printer name and modify it if you want.
  • The Epson ET-4750 printer name is used to access or identify the Epson ET-4750  printer on the network.
Note:
The default Epson ET-4750 setting is “EPSONXXXXXX” (X: Last 6 digits of the MAC address). To change the Epson ET-4750 printer name, retype the text.
Epson ET-4750 Set TCP/IP Setup settings.
  • Normally, the broadband router or access point will automatically allocate an IP address to the printer using the DHCP function. If your router (or access point) DHCP function is on, select Auto.
Note:
To assign a unique IP address to the printer, select Manual, and enter the IP Address, Subnet Mask and Default Gateway.
  • Epson ET-4750 Set the DNS server. DNS server and proxy server settings are not available for all printers or may not be enabled.
  • Normally, the broadband router or access point will automatically allocate a DNS server address to the printer. To use this option, select Auto.
Note:
To specify the DNS server address, select Manual, and enter the Primary DNS Server and Secondary DNS Server addresses.
  • Set the proxy server address.
  • Select Do Not Use.
Note:
To use the proxy server, select Use, and enter the Proxy Server address and Port.
